Unfortunately, BMW had never offered a carbon clip for the M steering wheels for the E39 & E46. Neither for M3 / M5 or Individual. This is particularly unfortunate. We figured it's never too late for that!
Especially since these models are increasingly becoming classics with style.
The carbon clip is absolutely based on the originals to make it as easy as possible for you as a customer to mount the clip. In addition, this also plays a major role for enthusiasts, since the OEM look should not be lost. Likewise for the assembly. There are the same inserts, the same rest points, etc. So the part is not just a plug & play, but you could really think the part came directly from BMW.
With this clasp, the vehicle definitely has even more style and value. It's no secret that well-preserved models (no matter what engine) are increasing in value.
Highest quality full carbon from our own production including the original locking points and screw points.
All parts are made in-house and processed by hand.
The clip is coated with a high-quality carbon clear coat, which primarily protects the component from UV radiation. A great side effect is that the component gets an even nicer depth effect.
Contrary to customer requests, the carbon parts can also be provided with a matt finish.
Suitable for all E39 & E46 models with the M steering wheel, where the newer steering wheel is already mounted. approx. from year 2000
The part is manufactured in-house in an autoclave with high-quality prepreg carbon under high pressure and temperature. This technique is also used in Formula 1, as it allows the carbon to be processed more stably and cleanly.
Individual inquiries are also welcome. We also manufacture parts on request as well as for prototyping, serial production etc.
